Job summary

dtLabs is seeking a Cloud & Backend Engineer to design, validate and implement cloud infrastructure and backend services for an AI-powered computer vision platform. The role involves working across AWS infrastructure, APIs, data services and system integrations to build a secure, scalable US-based environment.

Responsibilities include developing backend services, designing AWS infrastructure, implementing IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and ensuring cloud security and proper networking.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend development and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on AWS experience and ability to design secure, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and databases.
• Familiarity with Terraform and/or CloudFormation for IaC.

We are looking for a Cloud & Backend Engineer to research, validate and implement the cloud infrastructure and backend services of an AI-powered computer vision platform. You will work across AWS infrastructure, APIs, data services and system integrations, helping build a secure and scalable environment that will operate in the United States.

Location: United States — candidates must be currently based in the US

Requirements

• Currently residing in the United States.
• Professional experience with backend development and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with REST APIs and databases.
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of cloud security, IAM and networking.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to research and validate technical solutions independently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with regulated or government environments.
