Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy backend features for a cloud-based forms platform. You will work on RESTful APIs, cloud services, and data models across SQL and CosmosDB, aligning technical work with product goals.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Experience building cloud apps or services
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts
• Strong OO design skills and architectural judgment
• Proven ability to own large technical initiatives end-to-end
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with AI-enabled features and AI tooling in development

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend features using C# and .NET Core for a cloud platform
• Build and support RESTful APIs and cloud services enabling data movement
• Optimize and troubleshoot SQL data models and queries
• Work with SQL and CosmosDB NoSQL environments
• Translate business requirements into robust technical plans
• Collaborate with UX, Product, QA, and engineering teams across regions
• Own complex initiatives end-to-end from concept to production
• Ensure architectural integrity, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to AI-driven features and integration within the platform
• Support and improve workflow automation, approvals, and reporting
