Job summary

Arena Technical Resources, LLC is hiring a Cloud Automation Engineer in Arlington, VA (onsite 3 days a week). You will design, build, and maintain automated cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, focusing on IaC, pipelines, and scalable deployment patterns.

The role emphasizes Terraform, Ansible, and serverless solutions with AWS Lambda and Azure Logic Apps, while ensuring security and compliance across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Terraform experience.
• Strong Ansible proficiency for configuration management.
• Solid experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules for multi-cloud provisioning.
• Apply IaC best practices and standards across the org.
• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for deployment.
• Build modular automation frameworks for multiple projects.
• Develop templates and blueprints for common deployments.
• Automate manual processes to boost efficiency and reduce errors.
• Manage cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Optimize AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation.
• Optimize Azure services: VMs, Storage, Logic Apps, Functions, ARM templates.
• Design serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Azure Logic Apps.
• Manage VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance.
