Job summary

Cymertek Corporation in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automated cloud solutions. You will work across teams to streamline deployments, improve scalability, and ensure reliable cloud operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep automation experience across AWS/Azure/GCP, strong scripting, and hands-on CI/CD with containerized environments. TS/SCI Full Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Strong scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
Hands-on CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Ability to implement cloud monitoring and observability.

Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud automation frameworks.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code scripts.
Collaborate to optimize cloud workflows.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems.
Automate deployment and scaling of applications.
Ensure cloud security best-practices compliance.
