Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC, within the AWS Managed Services (AMS), is seeking engineers to build intelligent software to automate infrastructure operations and deliver automated outcomes across provisioning, monitoring, patching, and recovery. You will interact across AWS services and work with diverse teams to optimize cost, performance, and security.

Applicants should have strong software development experience, design/architecture skills, and familiarity with large-scale distributed systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Build intelligent software that automates infrastructure operations.
Provide recommendations to AWS users on cost optimization, performance, security and fault tolerance.
Collaborate with multiple teams to understand how AWS services come together and deliver solutions.
