ActioNet is seeking a Cloud Architect Subject Matter Expert to lead the architecture, modernization, and cloud adoption of mission‑critical enterprise systems supporting federal programs. The role is Hybrid/Remote with candidates local to the DMV area.

The position offers a salary up to $200,000, with deep experience in AWS, containerization, and DevSecOps, and a focus on secure, scalable cloud platforms for federal contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years in cloud engineering or architecture.
• Strong hands‑on AWS expertise and enterprise‑scale deployments.
• Proven track record in automation and infrastructure‑as‑code tooling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for enterprise cloud architecture and modernization.
• Define target‑state architectures for apps, APIs, databases, and analytics.
• Lead DevSecOps and CI/CD practices using GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Architect secure AWS environments with containers, microservices, and cost optimization.
