Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with development experience to join their team on a consulting basis. This individual will serve as a technical expert in orchestrating application components to meet agency business requirements, focusing on IT system modernization initiatives.

The role involves ensuring effective integration of Cloud infrastructure with COTS packages, SaaS, web services, and government applications. The position provides technical leadership to development teams, emphasizing usability, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with .NET, HTML, XML, SQL, SOAP, REST, PowerShell, IaC, Microsoft Azure, Function Apps
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of cloud application development environments, frameworks, and tools
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to analyze complex situations and recommend solutions
• Experience with database concepts, secure coding, web services, distributed application design
• Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Visio, Office suite, and message queuing systems (Redis, RabbitMQ)
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and orchestration tools
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
