This on-site role involves setting architectural direction and leading cloud modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Docker, and Terraform, along with a strong background in building large-scale systems. You will work closely with engineering and security teams to enhance business-critical services, ensuring high reliability and security standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and supporting large-scale, business-critical systems.
• 5+ years designing and operating cloud-based enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud architecture strategy across platforms, tooling, and patterns.
• Design and govern container-based architectures using Docker and AWS ECS.
• Define and improve deployment and release management practices.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure robust implementation.
• Drive integration architecture that connects legacy and cloud services.
• Collaborate with security stakeholders to embed best practices.
• Improve quality and operability through observability standards.
• Document best practices and mentor technical leads.
• Bring a customer service mindset to internal partnerships.
• Work with vendors on technical evaluation and integration.
