Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Architect Lead to design and oversee cloud infrastructure for a DoD client in the Linthicum, MD area. You will shape scalable, secure cloud foundations, work with engineers and security teams, and align deployments with federal standards to meet mission objectives.

The role requires on-site attendance, 12+ years of related experience, and a strong background in cloud platforms, DevSecOps, and IAM. A CSC/IS/Engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Cloud architecture design with security and scalability focus.
• Proficiency with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and serverless.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC.
• CI/CD practices with Gitlab CI and Git.
• Linux admin and programming basics (Java, Python, C#).
• IAM solutions and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities
