Job Description
Join us as a Cloud Architect, where you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and evolving our cloud infrastructure and application ecosystems. Reporting to the VP of Cloud Operations, you’ll lead initiatives that shape our cloud strategy and optimize our platforms. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing resilient systems, driving infrastructure automation, and ensuring our environments are secure and seamlessly monitored. You’ll work with cutting-edge cloud platforms, champion best practices in infrastructure as code, and leverage CI/CD tools to streamline operations. Exciting Responsibilities For The Cloud Architect Role
  1. Cloud Architecture and Management: Design and deploy high-impact cloud infrastructure that scales effortlessly with our business’s growth. Be the mastermind behind our cloud’s performance, reliability, and security, ensuring it stays cutting-edge and ready for anything.
  2. Infrastructure Automation: Lead transformative infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives, building out automation that supercharges provisioning and configuration, creating a seamless, efficient cloud environment that operates like a well-oiled machine.
  3. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Create powerful monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions that keep our systems running at peak performance. Take pride in resolving issues swiftly, supporting a resilient, high-availability cloud experience.
  4. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect data and maintain system integrity across our environment, ensuring that every component meets high standards for security and compliance.
  5. Collaboration and Mentorship: Engage with engineering teams across the organization, sharing your expertise and inspiring innovation. Mentor junior engineers and be a driving force in fostering a collaborative culture focused on continuous learning and growth.
  6. Documentation and Standards: Craft clear, precise documentation for our cloud architectures, processes, and automation tools, setting the standard for consistency and empowering teams to build on your frameworks with ease.
  7. CI/CD Optimization: Lead the charge in optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, partnering with development teams to embed best practices and streamline the release process, ensuring we deliver high-quality updates faster and more effectively.

Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience, with a technical focus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, and DevOps processes.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP).
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform.
  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and implementing automation solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process optimization.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
