Job summary

Diverse Lynx LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a Software Developer / Cloud Architect with 10+ years overall and 5+ years AWS infrastructure experience. The role focuses on designing cloud-native architectures, provisioning infrastructure with Terraform/OpenTofu, and guiding application deployment in a secure, scalable environment.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to establish best practices, roadmaps, and automated lifecycles from plan to operate, while staying compliant with AWS security

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years AWS infrastructure design/implementation.
• Cloud-native design patterns and architecture selection for AWS workloads.
• Experience provisioning infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and automation.
• Strong AWS security, compliance, and lifecycle management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud architectures for applications.

Pay Rate: $55-$60/hr
Location: Plano, TX 75024 (On-site)
Duration: 12 months
Job Title: Job title: Software Developer / Cloud Architect
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 10+ years of experience overall and 5+ years of experience in working with AWS Infrastructure set up for Applications.
• Cloud native design pattern knowledge and Experience in defining the 'right fit' Architecture for Applications based on AWS Well architecture framework.
• Stateful and stateless application design knowledge.
• Hands on Experience in designing and provisioning Infrastructure on AWS Cloud using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Strong understanding and hands on experience of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform/OpenTofu, CICD using Jenkins/Github Actions.
• Strong understanding of AWS Security and how to meet application compliance requirements.
• Experience working with engineering teams to define best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle - Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate such as automate lifecycle activities - self-service, orchestration and provisioning, configuration management.
• Experience defining technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.

Required Certifications: AWS Certified Solution Architect
Nice to Have:

• Strong understanding of infrastructure for Applications (Network, Storage, Processing, Backup/DR etc).
• AI applications / agents development.
• Knowledge of Pulumi.
• Knowledge and Hands on experience with Kubernetes Platform (Nutanix Kubernetes Platform would be ideal)

Nice to Have Certifications: HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate Certified Kubernetes Administrator
