Job summary

Slalom’s Platform Engineering team is seeking Senior Consultants or Principal level talent to design, develop, and implement cloud platform solutions for clients across industries. You will architect and optimize cloud platforms on AWS/Azure/GCP, build IaC, define CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teams in DevOps and platform engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in DevOps, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Python scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, reliability engineering, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience using GenAI tools to accelerate work.
• Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving, collaboration, and client engagement skills

Slalom’s Platform Engineering team is looking for Senior Consultants or Principal level talent to design, develop and implement solutions for our customers across industries.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Working with application teams to define CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Build observability, security controls, and platform governance best practices.
• Collaborate with application, security, and architecture teams to improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery.
• Lead cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
• Mentor engineering teams on DevOps, SRE, cloud-native, and platform engineering best practices.

What You’ll Bring

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Consultant in NY, Boston is $145,000 to $177,000. The target salary pay range for other markets on the east is $133,000-$163,000. The target base pay range for Principal level in NY/Boston is $178,000-$218,000. The target base pay range for other east coast markets is $163,000-$200,000.In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
