Role: Cloud Architect for the Michigan Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI).

Contract Duration: 12 months.

Requirements include:

• Experience: At least one previous State Project Experience and 5+ years in the field.
• Technical Skills: .NET, HTML, XML, SQL, SOAP, REST, PowerShell, IaC, Microsoft Azure, Function Apps.
• Knowledge: Microsoft Azure, web-based, and client-server systems architecture.
• Communication: Clear and concise communication skills required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with department program managers and oversight groups.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the technical expert on application components and system integration.
• Providing technical expertise and leadership to development staff.
• Designing enterprise application architecture, code libraries, middleware, and leading migration to a services-based architecture.
• Developing and managing enterprise IT system architecture, ensuring security standards, and supporting application deployment and operation.
