Rutgers University is seeking an Application Programmer for the Office of Information Technology. The role focuses on managing MaCS cloud services and building integrations with cloud APIs to improve service delivery.

You will collaborate with OIT staff and departmental IT teams, develop automation, and support ongoing cloud operations under guidance from senior engineers. This position supports a hybrid work arrangement at Rutgers with standard full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technology field or equivalent combination education and experience.
• Experience developing quality software with a long-term career focus.
• Ability to work independently and seek mentorship when needed.

Responsabilités

• Assists in administering MaCS cloud services (O365, Google Suite, Box, Slack, etc.) via consoles and scripting.
• Acts as liaison between OIT staff, help desk, and departmental IT to ensure proper MaCS service delivery.
• Develops applications and tools that integrate with cloud services using vendor APIs.
• Works under supervision of higher-level technical staff and management.
