Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is hiring a Cloud Application Developer to design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform. You will create robust CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will work with Docker/Kubernetes (GKE), monitor and secure cloud workloads, and participate in architecture decisions in a hybrid/remote setting. A strong mix of cloud and DevOps skills is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, etc.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security practices in the cloud.
• GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer or DevOps Engineer) are a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient in the cloud environment.
• Support containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
