Job summary

Theradex Oncology in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Cloud and Network Engineer to lead our migration from on-premises to the cloud. You will design, deploy, and secure a scalable AWS and hybrid environment, and manage global IT operations.

Collaborate with our EU Information Systems Manager to align infrastructure with business goals, enforce security controls, disaster recovery, and drive vendor strategy. This role requires on-site availability in Princeton as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud-based server and network administration.
• AWS Advanced Networking certification preferred.
• Willingness to come on-site to Princeton, NJ.
• Willing to work outside standard business hours and weekends when required.

Job description

We are seeking a Cloud and Network Engineer to spearhead our migration from on-premises to the cloud. You will build and secure a scalable AWS and hybrid environment, manage global IT operations, and collaborate closely with our EU Information Systems Manager to align our infrastructure with business goals.

Core Impact Areas

• Cloud Migration & Architecture: Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure, hybrid connectivity, and global network roadmaps.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce network controls (firewalls, WAFs, VPNs), manage user rights/licensing, and oversee disaster recovery.
• Global IT Operations: Monitor performance, support US-based servers/workstations, and maintain system documentation.
• Vendor & Strategy: Manage procurement, negotiate vendor contracts, and align IT activities with leadership strategies.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred or equivalent work experience and certifications in lieu of degree
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud-based server and network system administration and management required
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking preferred
• Must be willing to come on-site to Princeton office as needed
• Willing to work outside of standard business hours and weekends (when required).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 - $150,000. The actual salary offer will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies for the role.
