Job Title: Cloud and Infrastructure Systems Administrator - Linux admin

Job Category: Information Technology; Time Type: Full time; Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph; Employee Type: Regular; % Travel Required: None.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux admin to work with our dynamic team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments, an understanding of cloud services, and a strong Linux command line understanding.

Responsibilities

• Workstation and Server support: Local Linux Desktop support, support local and remote “Cloud-in-a-box” infrastructure (Nutanix), comfortable with hardware deployments and troubleshooting.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain cloud-based resources (AWS); IPA; Puppet; documentation.
• Network support: Support troubleshooting efforts for our cloud base network infrastructure and local network issues.

Required Qualifications

• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP) – must have or be willing to obtain within 1–2 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Approximately 7 years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Puppet, IPA, and Kubernetes.
• Experience or understanding of “Cloud-in-a-Box” solutions.
• Experience with Ansible and scripting.

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is: $82,700 – 173,900 USD.
