Job summary

Peregrine Advisors is seeking a developer to automate high-volume filer applications using OCR and AI in the cloud. You will build document-intelligence services in Python, integrate Textract-or-equivalents, and implement validation workflows in a regulated environment.

Hybrid role based in the Washington, DC area, requiring US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust. You’ll join a mission-driven team delivering critical pipelines for federal agencies.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on Python and real experience building document-processing systems in the cloud (Amazon Textract or equivalents).
• Data validation, matching, and the APIs and SQL that move documents through to a decision.
• Ability to operate in a regulated environment where accuracy and auditability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build document-intelligence services that pull structure and meaning out of filings at scale using OCR/AI and confidence scoring.
• Develop the validation and review workflows: exact and fuzzy matching, business rules, human-review processes.
• Collaborate on evolving capabilities, tools, and lines of business within the firm.
