Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Cloud / AI Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI and workflow automation solutions in a remote, contract-capable role. You will lead architecture, build AI pipelines, and set best practices across AWS, GCP, and AI ecosystems.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, and guiding deployment of scalable AI platforms in a Fortune 100 telecom context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, software engineering, data platforms, or related fields.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Hands-on with AWS Agent Core and building Agentic AI pipelines.
• Experience designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Proven ability to prototype and translate concepts into production platforms.
• Experience with cloud-native AI solutions on AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise apps, APIs, and data ecosystems.
• Prior roles as Architect, Principal Engineer, or equivalent leadership.
• Excellent communication with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise AI and intelligent automation platforms.
• Build PoC and production AI pipelines using AWS Agent Core and agent-based patterns.
• Design RAG frameworks for scalable enterprise knowledge retrieval and AI decisions.
• Set standards for AI agents, orchestration, vector search, and data integration.
• Evaluate cloud strategies across AWS, GCP, and related technologies.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable AI solutions with stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership while hands-on with prototyping and pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows with AI.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
