Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Cloud / AI Architect for a remote, contract engagement. You will lead enterprise-scale AI platforms and architect agentic AI solutions across cloud providers, guiding cross-functional teams.

The role requires 10+ years in cloud architecture and AI/ML, hands-on AWS Agent Core work, RAG, vector databases, and strong stakeholder communication. This position supports a Fortune 100 telecommunications client and offers flexible remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, software engineering, data platforms, or related technical fields.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise AI/ML solutions in large-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Agent Core and building Agentic AI frameworks, workflows, and orchestration pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions and intelligent workflow automation platforms.
• Build proof-of-concept and production-ready AI pipelines leveraging AWS Agent Core and modern agent-based architectures.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks to support scalable enterprise knowledge retrieval and AI-driven decision-making.
• Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for AI agents, orchestration workflows, vector search, and enterprise data integration.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud platform strategies across AWS, GCP, and other emerging AI ecosystem technologies.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with prototyping, pipeline development, and solution implementation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven process optimization and workflow enrichment.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including customer-facing discussions and executive-level presentations.
• Support enterprise adoption of AI capabilities through architecture reviews, technology assessments, and implementation guidance.
