Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Ohio is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage apparel merchandise from receipt to stocking on the Sales Floor. This part-time role requires attention to Visual Merchandising Standards and efficient use of the inventory system.

The ideal candidate will assist with backroom organization, replenishment, pricing signage, and delivering friendly customer service while maintaining a neat, well-stocked work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with visual merchandising and inventory processes.
• Ability to operate inventory and point-of-sale systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel shipments at receipt per VM and MPS standards.
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor using the inventory system.
• Promote backroom organization and assist with replenishment.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with pricing maintenance and signage.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area.
• Keep backstock organized and accessible.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a pleasant shopping experience.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

• Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.
• Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
