Bass Pro Shops in Prattville, AL is hiring an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage the intake and stocking of apparel merchandise. You will ensure accurate processing at receipt, keep the backroom organized, and replenish stock to the floor according to Visual Merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and efficient use of store systems. This is a part-time on-site position with benefits outlined in the store’s employee program.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise at time of receipt following Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards.
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor per Visual Merchandising Standards using the inventory system.
• Support backroom organization and pricing signage as needed.
• Unload trucks when required.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and organized backstock.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
