Job summary

VANCE OUTDOORS INC. in Springdale, OH seeks a Sales Associate to assist customers in selecting products and completing purchases, while promoting a positive shopping experience and delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.

You will assist with inventory from warehouse to floor, quote prices, describe features, manage paperwork in line with ATF guidelines, handle inbound calls, stock, clean work areas, and uphold safety and department policies to ensure consistent store performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products and completing purchases; provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Handle inbound calls; maintain accurate paperwork and forms per ATF guidelines.
• Quote prices, describe features, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.
• Stock products on sales floor; assist with inventory; keep areas clean and organized.
• Promote a positive culture and adhere to all store policies and procedures.
