Job summary

TEXTUM OPCO LLC is seeking a Material Handler to safely manage finished rolls of cloth, palletize for shipment, and assist with loading creel packages and bobbins.

You will follow written procedures, maintain clean work areas, operate basic material handling equipment, and support manufacturing goals with accuracy and teamwork. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, wearing PPE, and working in a loud environment with steel-toe shoes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions in English, short memos and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurement tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload finished rolls of cloth and palletize for shipment.
• Load new packages on creel and bobbins; assist with creel loading.
• Operate material handling equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly; follow safety procedures.
• Record weights of manufacturing waste and monitor processes.
• Meet production goals and follow written procedures (WI/JSA).
• Deliver sample swatches to lab as required.
