Job summary

Standard Textile is seeking a Cloth Doffer to transport rolls of cloth to predetermined machines and move waste to the waste house on our manufacturing floor. This role supports production by handling materials safely and efficiently in a fast-paced textile environment.

Responsibilities include moving dyed yarn and cloth to machines with powered equipment, doffing full rolls, collecting waste, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while meeting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Previous experience in a material handling or related position.

Responsibilities

• Transport filling and dyed yarn to machines using powered industrial vehicles.
• Doff cloth by rolling full rolls onto doff truck attachment.
• Collect waste and transport it to the waste house.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
