Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Automotive).
• 5+ years of experience in Closures Product Development.
• Proficiency in Ford CAD systems (CATIA V5/V6).

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient designs for closure system components.
• Create 3D CAD concept models and master sections.
• Identify and integrate technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to improve system efficiency.
• Guide studio surface development to meet program hard points and cost targets.
• Lead supplier sourcing and system selection processes.
• Prepare technical studies for architecture peers and management.
• Collaborate with closures core engineering on new requirements.
