LM Wind Power in Grand Forks, ND is seeking dedicated manufacturing associates for full-time blade production across Moulding, Closing, Cut and Trim, Finishing and Assembly areas.

Work is Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork. Base pay for this U.S. position is $22.88–$27.50 per hour, with a full benefits package and opportunities for pay progression.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to read work instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and lift up to 40 lbs.
• May be required to operate power tools.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work in one of five production areas to build wind turbine blades from fiberglass and other materials.
• Follow safety, quality, and process guidelines to minimize defects.
• Contribute to assembling blades in Moulding, Closing, Cut and Trim, Finishing and Assembly stages.
• Read and follow work instructions, operate basic tools, and participate in team tasks.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.

Work with a team of individuals to build wind turbine blades out of fiberglass and additional materials in one of the 5 production areas:

• Moulding – lay fiberglass and other materials in wind turbine shell moulds
• Closing – repair and prepare wind turbine shells and glue them together
• Cut and Trim – Grind, scuff and apply fiber glass and chemicals
• Finishing – Paint, matte, and sand blades
• Assembly – Apply all mounting equipment and customer specifications
