Job summary

Five Guys in Latham, NY is looking for crew members to perform essential duties across multiple restaurant stations, delivering friendly and efficient service to every guest. You will work in a fast-paced environment, including grill, dressing, fry, and morning prep areas, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are 18+ (preferred), able to lift 50+ pounds, and available for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age preferred but not required.
• Read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift 50+ pounds.
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Available to work days/nights, weekends and holidays.

Crew Members

perform essential duties in many different areas within the restaurant, including the cash register area, grill, dressing station, fry station, lobby and morning prep area, and provide friendly, fast and accurate service in order to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Schedule:

• Available to work days and nights
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Available to work a variable schedule, as per the needs of the business

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age preferred but not required
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift 50+ pounds for the duration of your shift (up to 8 hours with scheduled breaks)
• Function in a fast-paced and noisy kitchen environment
• Tolerance to temperature fluctuations
• Work with hazardous substances such as hot oil
• Read, write, speak, and understand basic English
• Communicate clearly
• Use a basic computer system (ex. cash register)
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
• Adhere to Company’s policies and procedures, as well as City, State, and Federal laws and mandates
• Fast casual/ fast food experience (preferred but not required)
