Job summary

Target is seeking a Closing Team Leader who will drive guest service excellence, coach a diverse team, and execute daily closing routines in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will lead by example, manage workloads, and collaborate with leaders to achieve sales goals while ensuring a welcoming guest experience. This role requires flexibility with shifts and a strong focus on safety and store operations.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience and ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate inclusivity and value diverse voices while guiding the team.
• Model exceptional guest service and coach staff to deliver the service standard.
• Understand how each area contributes to store profitability and sales growth.
• Lead onboarding and learning, close skill gaps through development and coaching.
• Prioritize and execute store strategies to meet goals while maintaining guest experience.
• Communicate priorities and updates with store leadership using planning tools.
• Ensure departments are stocked, labeled, and prepared for the next day.
