Job Summary
Maintains excellence in guest service and quality control of operations consistently to ensure the company mission is attained.
Essential Functions
- Runs shifts effectively to ensure quality products, guest service, and restaurant cleanliness meet system standards.
- Ensures guests receive quality products within five minutes for in-house orders and four minutes for drive-thru orders.
- Ensures proper product quality control, presentation, and hold times according to the Operations Training Manual, Order Assembly.
- Accesses financial information and completes weekly sales and labor reports during their shift.
- Monitors and coaches team on safety practices related to the hazard communication program and workplace safety.
- Empowers team to handle guest comments "the Culver's way."
- Ensures team is knowledgeable about products and guest service.
- Demonstrates and maintains a positive attitude among team members.
- Ensures proper personal hygiene and food safety practices are maintained.
- Displays point of purchase (P.O.P.) materials timely according to marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrates proficiency on all restaurant positions.
- Provides ongoing development of crew chief and shift leader using the management training checklist.
- Maintains adequate staffing to meet labor cost standards.
- Follows up on visitation and field reports, including cleanliness, hospitality, and ground appearance.
- Performs daily restaurant shifts and reviews daily reconciliation reports for accuracy.
- Runs financial reports, manages cash drawers, and completes daily cash counts.
- Ensures team is cross-trained effectively and helps identify candidates for crew chief roles.
- Completes food inventory orders based on sales forecasts.
- Maintains inventory levels, manages shelf life and product rotation, and completes quality control checklists.
- Performs monthly inventory procedures and delegates cleaning tasks.
- Directs weekly and monthly odd jobs to team members.
- Models positive appearance and attitude, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Attends all managerial and team meetings.
- Monitors email and extranet communications twice daily during shifts.
- Uses radiant for cash counting procedures.
Qualifications
- One year experience in a supervisory role.
- Effective organizational, communication, and management skills; knowledgeable in all business aspects; energetic and positive attitude.
- Salary commensurate with qualifications; benefits available for full-time managers.
Physical Abilities
- Stand, walk constantly; sit occasionally; handle objects constantly; lift/carry 10-50 lbs frequently; up to 100 lbs occasionally.
