Job summary

McDonald's in Kent, Ohio is looking for positive team players to join as Shift Managers. You will lead shifts, ensuring customers enjoy a fast, accurate, and friendly experience during their visits.

As a Shift Manager, you’ll provide leadership to crew and other managers, monitor performance, and ensure that McDonald's quality and service standards are met. Additional responsibilities include managing food safety, inventory, and maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work as a Shift Manager at McDonald's.

• Managers lead shifts every week to ensure fast, accurate, friendly customer service.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift.
• Monitor performance during the shift to meet McDonald's standards.
• Responsible for meeting targets and helping departments achieve goals.
• Oversee Food Safety and Internal Communication.
• Manage Inventory and ensure Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness.
• Ensure Quality Food Production.

Responsibilities

• Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit
• A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers
• Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonalds' standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift, too
• Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and for helping their assigned Departments meet their goals
