Perform closing functions for Grandbridge and assist other departments as requested by the Grandbridge Head of Closing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This summary outlines the key responsibilities for this role. Additional duties, both major and minor, may be assigned, and specific activities may change over time.

  • Handle commercial/multifamily closing responsibilities, including due diligence review, insurance review, borrower organizational review, loan document review and modification, compliance checks, document storage, commitment preparation, closing calculations, loan funding, and servicing handoffs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business, legal, and servicing contacts at agencies, lenders, and investors.
  • Assist servicing and asset management teams with problem assets and borrower requests.
  • Foster a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with Grandbridge’s purpose, mission, and values.
  • Ensure sound risk management and compliance with credit, underwriting, operational, regulatory, tax, and legal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
  • Ability to perform commercial/multifamily closing responsibilities, including due diligence, insurance reviews, borrower organizational review, loan document review and modification, compliance, document storage, commitment preparation, closing calculations, loan funding, and servicing handoffs, with adequate training.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation requiring minimal supervision.
  • Good decision-making and risk analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and/or FHA transactions.
