Hudson Elms Nursing Home in Hudson, Ohio, is hiring for a Housekeeper / Laundry Aide. We offer full-time, part-time, or PRN roles on our campus to keep bedrooms, common areas, and facilities clean and safe for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, dining areas, bathrooms, and linen washing; following schedules; using cleaning chemicals safely; and moving furniture as directed. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and reliable, with a neat

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Dress in uniform and be at workstation when shift starts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and straighten rooms, offices, and common areas; polish and remove items; ensure resident rooms are safe, comfortable and attractive.
• Cleans and sanitizes areas according to facility policy and procedure.
• Moves and arranges residents' furniture and equipment as directed by the supervisor.
• Cleans residents dining areas after meals and adheres to the weekly dining room cleaning schedule.
• Cleans and sanitizes resident bathrooms and common bath areas.
• Cleans and maintains windows and walls in resident rooms and common areas.
• Complies with weekly departmental cleaning schedule.
• Adheres to all cleaning chemical hazards as indicated on supplies.
• Wash resident and facility linen and personal clothing as needed throughout the shift.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Hudson Elms is a 50 bed skilled nursing, and 25 bed assisted living community looking for Full Time, Part Time, or PRN housekeepers on our campus. We are recently under new management of AOM Healthcare, and looking to hire caring individuals to make our home sparkle and shine for our residents each day.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and straighten (including vacuuming, wiping moping, polishing etc.) rooms, offices, and common areas; polish and remove items; ensure resident's rooms are safe, comfortable and maintained in an attractive manner.




• Cleans and sanitizes are of responsibility according to facility policy and procedure.




• Moves and arranges residents furniture and equipment as directed by the supervisor.




• Cleans residents dining areas at the completion of meal service and adheres ot weekly cleaning schedule of the dining room.




• Cleans and sanitizes resident bathrooms and common bath areas.




• Cleans and maintains windows and walls in resident rooms and common areas.




• Complies with weekly departmental cleaning schedule.




• Adheres to all cleaning chemical hazards as invited on supplies.




• Wash resident and facility linen and personal clothing as needed throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions




• Must be 18 years of age or older




• Dress in appropriate uniform and be at appointed workstation when the shift starts, consistently work until the shift ends.
