• Identifies potential risks and early signs of escalating patient behaviors, such as agitation, confusion, and anxiety.
• Keeps patient and staff safety at the forefront, engaging the patient in reduction techniques to maintain safety.
• Incorporates problem solving and critical thinking skills to help implement behavioral interventions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation Range: $18.33 - $24.75 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma required
• 1 year of experience related to patient care or psychiatric training preferred or less than 1 year (six months) of nursing education preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
