Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is hiring a CLO Portfolio Analyst in Carmel, IN. You will learn fundamental credit analysis, portfolio/risk management, and structured credit while contributing to the investment process.

The role requires a finance/economics/CS or analytical liberal arts degree, 0–1 year experience, and proficiency in Excel, VBA and Python. A strong communication skill set and desire to grow in financial markets are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or analytical Liberal Arts major.
0-1 years of experience, inclusive of internship experience.
Proficiency in Excel, VBA and Python is required.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Willingness to learn and accept guidance and feedback.

Responsibilities

Ensuring monthly and quarterly reports are accurate and distributed to investors.
Monitoring compliance with indenture requirements and identifying tests at risk of failure.
Developing and maintaining risk and analytical models for market dislocations and opportunities.
Collaborating with AVP/VP of Leveraged Loans on portfolio optimization strategies.
Working with traders and trustees to determine daily investable cash.
