Job description

This is a seasonal position, 20-29 hours per week. The person selected for this position will be based at the Mississippi River Eco Tourism Center at Rock Creek Marina and Campground, Camanche, Iowa. The person hired for this position will work under the supervision of the Park Supervisor.

The person(s) hired for this position will gain knowledge in day-to-day park operations including the following duties: registering campers, preparing/ordering food, general custodial maintenance to the Mississippi River Eco Tourism Center, stocking merchandise, operating the cash register, and other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Shift will be days/afternoon/evenings and must work some holidays and weekends. Expected start date in April-May.

Employees must be able to do some climbing, lift up to 40 lbs., and be able to stand the entire shift. Applicants must be comfortable working with the public.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with the public and handling cash is a plus but will train the right person(s). Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid Iowa driver's license.
