Job summary

VOA Northern Rockies seeks a licensed Clinician to deliver clinical and education-based treatment in a residential and outpatient setting in Cheyenne, WY. You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and facilitate groups while ensuring accurate charting and coordination with community resources.

Responsibilities include telehealth and on-call rotation, with emphasis on confidentiality, ethical practice, and compassionate client support according to agency standards.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or related field from CACREP/CORE/CSWE accredited program.
• Fully or Provisionally licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAT through the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board, or eligible for licensure if current licensure is out-of-state
• Meet qualifications required for a substance abuse professional, Clinician, or assistant by the State of Wyoming’s Division of Behavioral Health Standards for the Operation of Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs
• Proficient in the use of computer software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite and desktop publishing
• Exceptional and demonstrated time management skills to stay organized and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Complete social histories, assessments, treatment plans, admission and discharge summaries, and other chart-related documents promptly.
• Provide individual counseling and facilitate educational and counseling groups; chart activities in patient records.
• Develop educational and therapeutic curriculum for group settings with patients and families; include prevention education.
• Assist patients in understanding and completing therapeutic change objective-driven treatment plans.
• Coordinate services with staff, community resources, and referral sources to support patients.
• Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and clinical supervision to ensure clinic operations.
• In-person and Telehealth sessions weekly; participate in on-call rotation as required.
