Job summary

EventusWholeHealth is seeking a Clinician Support Specialist to assist the clinical care team, coordinate workflows, and enhance communication among patients, providers, and care teams. The role works closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians and facility staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

The position emphasizes clinical support, administrative coordination, and customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with travel to assigned facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA) or CNA/PCT preferred.
• Minimum one year of patient care experience preferred, medical scribing experience helpful.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds with complete patient info, docs, and schedules.
• Assist clinicians with encounter documentation, data entry, and chart prep.
• Coordinate and update patient schedules for admissions, discharges, and changes.
• Serve as liaison among clinicians, facility staff, patients, and families to support care delivery.
• Assist with triage and documentation as directed by clinicians.
• Organize and manage clinical documentation including labs and records.
• Host and support telehealth visits for routine and acute care needs.
• Obtain and process patient consents and route docs properly.
• Participate in facility meetings and communicate updates to care team.
• Support discharge planning and maintain accurate census and records.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the organization positively at partner facilities.

Position Summary:

The Clinician Support Specialist (CSS) plays a critical role in supporting the clinical care team and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care. In this position, you will work closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and facility staff to coordinate workflows, support clinical services, and enhance communication between patients, providers, and care teams.

CSS team members contribute to patient care delivery through a combination of clinical support, administrative coordination, and customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring all necessary patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready in advance
• Support clinicians in delivering care byassistingwith encounter documentation, data entry, and chart preparation
• Coordinate andmaintainaccuratepatient schedules, including updates for admissions, discharges, and acute changes
• Serve as a liaison between clinicians, facility staff, patients, and families to support communication and quality care delivery
• Assistwith triage needs and documentation as directed by the clinician
• Organize and manage clinical documentation, including lab results, diagnostic data, and patient records
• Host and support telehealth visits for both routine and acute care needs
• Obtain and process patient consents and ensure proper routing of documentation
• Participate in facility meetings and communicate updates to the care team
• Support discharge planning and ensureaccuratepatient census and records
• Maintain professionalism and represent the organization positively within partner facilities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, CNA, or PCT highly preferred
• Minimum one year of patient care experience highly preferred, medical scribing experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, supportive, and professional approach
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to navigate multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical environment

Travel Requirements:

• Regular travel to assigned facilities isrequired
• Travel distances may exceed 60 miles from home at times
• Reliable personal transportation isrequired
