Job summary

GateHouseTreatment in Nashua, NH is seeking a Clinician to provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. The role includes completing biopsychosocial assessments and coordinating with the treatment team to meet client goals.

You will facilitate daily groups, maintain timely documentation, and participate in team supervision to ensure high-quality care for clients and families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in human services or related field; Masters preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: LADC preferred.
  • NH State license or license eligible within 12 months.
  • Familiarity with substance use disorders and recovery models.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; professional, empathetic interaction.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments on incoming clients to determine level of care.
  • Facilitate daily groups focused on substance use and mental health.
  • Maintain open communication with all members of the treatment team.
  • Provide individual counseling for all clients on your caseload.
  • Facilitate family counseling sessions.
  • Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and weekly supervision.
  • Report to the Clinical Director for emergencies and concerns.
  • Complete SUD and mental health treatment plans and reviews.
  • Participate in the family program offered to clients.
  • Submit concurrent reviews to the Utilization Department as scheduled.

We're looking for a Clinician to provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. This position completes level-of-care assessments for new clients and works collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure the client's treatment goals are being met.

What You'll Do

  • Preferred: Bachelor's in human services or related field, Masters preferred.
