Job summary
Abraxas Youth and Family Services is seeking a Clinician (Provisional) for our Leadership Development Program at 10058 South Mountain Road, Building 6, South Mountain, PA. This full-time role offers a salary of $55,000 annually, with adjustments based on licensure, and DailyPay availability.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services with the treatment team under supervision.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Document treatment plans, reports, progress notes, and related clinical materials.
- Participate in treatment conferences and coordinate care.
- Liaise with external agencies, probation, caseworkers, and families.
- Supervise and support program safety and clinical operations.

As a Clinician, you will provide clinical services in conjunction with the treatment team, and under the supervision of the Clinical Director that provides clinical services, implements clinical treatment plans, and supports the ongoing clinical development of clients and programming.
- Provides casework clinical services to assigned clients as per the guidelines of the Treatment Plan and Clinical program
- Performs individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of the Clinical Director
- Ensures they provide accurate and timely documentation of all services provided that include treatment plans, monthly reports, progress reports/notes, assessments, and any related clinical, behavioral and /or educational progress to the treatment plan
- Participates and/or coordinates appropriate treatment conferences regarding client progress, treatment needs and /or county agency and family concerns
- Interacts closely with other clinical, operational and educational staff to review and get updates related to progress toward overall treatment goals
- Facilitates group therapy and treatment curriculum group sessions that align with client treatment goals
- Conducts ongoing treatment updates for members of the treatment team as needed
- Ensure regulatory compliance standards are being met for clinical services and documentation
- Serves as a liaison between external agencies, to include probation, caseworkers, attorneys, family members and other interested parties
- Conducts and facilitates appropriate clinical assessments for clients in crisis and with specific clinical needs under the direction of the Clinical Director or other designated staff
- Interprets and communicates programmatic needs to assist staff members with effective delivery of client service needs
- Assumes responsibility for specified areas of services such as client follow-up, group sessions, family sessions
- Assumes responsibility for serving as a client advocate to assists clients in communicating treatment needs and concerns with aftercare and services
- Assists the Clinical Director and Team in communicating treatment progress updates on a consistent basis to better ensure implementation of treatment goals
- Represents the program / facility at court judicial hearings and adequately prepares for required / relevant testimony
- Assists in the development and / or modification of client recreational, social, experiential and other treatment activities to better the progress of clients
- Provides direct care supervision of clients as needed and ensures program safety and people security is in place at all times
- Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of Safe Crisis Management training
- Supports and implements company philosophy and mission in promoting the Seven Key Principles of Care
- Communicates effectively using various internal systems effectively. Ensures regular communication, with peers, supervisors, customers and clients is professional at all times Maintains confidentiality of information related to clients

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field
- Required to complete master’s degree within one year of the date of hire into the role in a clinical related / mental health field
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing.
- Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors.
- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
