Clinician (Nurse Practitioner) - AI/ML works to develop novel AI tools to support patients achieving their health goals, in collaboration with clinicians, data scientists, and engineers. Utilizing the knowledge and understanding of primary and urgent care practices, the Clinician applies clinical domain expertise to support AI model training and evaluation. The Clinician will demonstrate comfort with and enthusiasm for technological enhancements of care delivery.

This is a remote role up to 20 hours per week. *You must reside in the states of California, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas or Washington to be considered a candidate for the role.*

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Evaluate and grade output of AI models
• Generate synthetic training data
• In some cases, engage in feature development in collaboration with Data Science team
• Acts as a patient advocate for employees and family members, ensuring technologies are centered around patient needs and the best interests of their health and health care
• Ensures technologies support high quality of care and patient experience, including timeliness and effective communication
• Collaborates with team members to learn and improve workflows and communication
• Maintains the strictest confidentiality
• Seeks consultation from collaborators when clarification is desired
• Consistently complete work hours once weekly hours have been elected and scheduled, within agreed upon flexible time frames

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of Primary Care and/or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner experience required within the previous 5 years.
• Multiple state Nurse Practitioner licenses are a plus.
• Education: Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university is required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team.
• Personal and professional integrity of the highest order.
• Compliance with policies and protocols of AC Wellness.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64.00 per hour in our lowest geographic market up to $90.00 per hour in our highest geo-graphic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The ranges are as follows:

Lowest Market (US National) range: $64.00-72.00 per hour
Mid Market (Major) range: $72.00-80.00 per hour
Highest Market (Premium) range: $80.00-90.00 per hour
