Job Overview

Clinician – Master’s Level (Reading, PA 19601)

CHOR Youth and Family Services is seeking a Master’s Level Clinician to provide quality therapeutic services to assigned clients and/or families at our program in Reading, PA.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in‑person assessments and provide individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Develop treatment plans using theoretical knowledge and implement real‑time interventions.
  • Recognize and manage crisis situations, triggers, challenging behaviors, and de‑escalate conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate written and electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with program policies and professional standards of care.
  • Serve as liaison between the program and family/community agencies, maintaining contact with key individuals in the client’s life.
  • Act as a client advocate and promote a culture of compassion.
  • Maintain clients’ rights and confidentiality.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the agency’s mission, goals, and objectives.
Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s degree from an accredited university in a clinical health discipline.
  • Two (2) years of verified experience in the mental‑health field (preferred).
  • At least three written references demonstrating past educational and/or employment experience.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
