Description

Title: Clinician

Reports to: Clinical Supervisor or Clinic Director

Salary: $60-75k

Possible 10-month work program with summers off!

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical services, primarily working with adolescents and families in a school/clinical setting.
  • Provide DSM diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and make referrals, documenting all in accordance with regulations and policies.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings focused on client mental health care.
  • Facilitate groups using evidence-based practices to empower clients in managing their mental health and recovery.
  • Consultation and supervision with attending psychiatrists and mental health specialists on treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Required: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT
  • At least 5 years of direct clinical experience, preferably in mental health settings addressing co-occurring disorders.
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Eligible for NYS Central Registry clearance for Child Abuse and NYS Justice Center.
