$3,000 after 30 days of employment for select programs, inquire within!

Unlicensed: $49,875 (+$5,000 additive for community-based services)

Licensed: $64,890 (0-3 years), $67,053 (3-6 years), $70,297.50 (6+ years)

Meridian Behavioral Health is a private, non-profit organization with roots in the mental health community since the 1960's. Since that time, we've expanded to 13 counties in North Central Florida. We use a multidisciplinary approach to treating those facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete bio-psychosocial assessment of assigned clients within 24 hours of admission.
  • Counsel substance abuse and dual diagnosis clients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding the patients' histories and progress, services provided, and other required information.
  • Develop individualized client treatment plans within 7 days of admission, based on research, clinical experience, and client histories.
  • Review and evaluate clients' progress in relation to measurable goals and objectives described in treatment and care plans.
  • Interview clients, review records, and confer with other professionals in order to evaluate individuals' mental and physical condition, and to determine their suitability for participation in a specific program.
  • Intervene as an advocate for clients or patients in order to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
Who are we looking for?
  • A master's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education or related human services field.
  • LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist.
  • At least one year of related experience.
  • Training in the treatment of behavioral health disorders, human growth and development, evaluations, assignments, treatment planning, basic counseling and behavior management interventions, case management, clinical record documentation, psychopharmacology, abuse regulations, and recipient rights.
  • Knowledge of the Baker Act is preferred.
  • Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.
Drivers Requirement:

Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements. In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years. Drivers over 65 years old must provide a current doctor's note stating they have no driving limitations.
