Job summary

Shiloh House in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Clinician for our new Day Treatment Program serving youth with significant social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. This role blends education, behavioral health, and family support to help youth succeed academically, emotionally, and socially.

The position involves providing individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy, on-site services, and collaboration with residential and education staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling from a CACREP‑accredited program (or equivalency) is required.
• Active Colorado licensure (LPC or LCSW) required.
• Demonstrated skill in assessment, diagnosis, case conceptualization, and treatment planning.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Background checks including fingerprinting and health evaluation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized direct clinical services—including individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy—for a blended caseload of youth.
• Deliver services on-site in day treatment and residential settings with some family-based outreach.
• Develop and implement behavior management strategies and collaborate with staff.
• Complete clinical documentation timely per licensing and accrediting requirements.
• Engage in case management and coordinate with probation officers and other stakeholders.
• Participate in a Clinical On‑Call rotation (2–3 times per quarter) with remote support.

Compensation

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $64,166.82-$77,520.51 annually, depending on education, licensure, experience, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.

What Makes This Role Unique?

This is more than a clinical position. It is an opportunity to help shape a growing program that combines education, behavioral health, and family support services. Clinicians in our Day Treatment Program play a critical role in helping clients build the skills they need to succeed in school, at home, and in their communities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Share your knowledge and insights with a clinical team of independent, eager, and creative clinicians.
• Provide individualized direct clinical services—including individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy—for a blended caseload of youth with significant trauma, mental health, and behavioral health needs, typically 7–9 youth.
• Deliver services primarily to youth in residential and/or day treatment programs on site, with occasional outpatient support for families in the home or office.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and utilize behavior management techniques with clients, including detailed instruction for direct care staff.
• Collaborate with residential and education staff to foster a trauma‑informed and strengths‑based environment in school and milieu settings.
• Complete clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, discharge summaries, court reports, notes) timely and in accordance with licensing and accrediting requirements.
• Handle case‑management tasks such as maintaining contact with families and multidisciplinary team members, including probation officers and case workers.
• Participate in a Clinical On‑Call rotation—typically 2–3 times per quarter—with virtual support from other professionals.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, normal business hours.
• May require occasional late‑evening hours to accommodate client, family, staff, or program needs, with flexibility coordinated with leadership.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from a CACREP‑accredited school. If not CACREP, proof of completion of an equivalency review is required.
• Active Colorado licensure (LPC, LCSW) required.
• Demonstrated skill in assessment, diagnosis, case conceptualization, and treatment planning.
• Willingness to work in a team of professionals outside the agency.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain one with a clean motor‑vehicle record.
• Successful completion of comprehensive background screening, including state criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex‑offender registry searches, and abuse/neglect clearances; health evaluation or physical examination prior to beginning service.
