Job summary

Red Rock Behavioral Health Services in Oklahoma City seeks a licensed mental health clinician to provide evidence-based treatment to veterans, active-duty service members and families.

You will develop integrated treatment plans, work in-person and via telehealth, document promptly, and collaborate across disciplines while supporting interns and participating in trainings.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Oklahoma in LPC/LMFT/LCSW/LADC/MH.
• PTSD diagnosis and treatment training.
• Experience with Evidenced Based Practices.
• Two years clinical experience; military-connected preferred.
• Proficient in two Evidenced Based Practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides evidence-based treatments and assessments for clients in various settings (individual, couple, family, group).
• Creates high quality, individualized, targeted Treatment Plans with clients and reviews them regularly.
• Documents interventions and communications within 48 hours.
• Provides services in-person and via telehealth as required.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to provide the best care.
• Attends trainings, supervision, and administrative meetings.
• Performs clinical intake assessments as needed.
• Provides crisis management support to clients and team.
• Allows Interns to sit in on sessions as appropriate.
• Participates in special projects and duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Clinician provides evidence-based treatment, interventions, and assessments in a measurement-based, time-limited model to veterans, particularly those who served in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, active-duty service members, guardsmen, and their families. At time of hire or within the first 6 months, all clinical team members will demonstrate verification of, or complete training to allow for, proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Certification or documented proficiency in one or more of the following Evidence Based Practices is required at time of hire or within a year of employment: Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or Child Centered Play Therapy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides evidence-based treatments and assessments for clients in various settings such as individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy


• Creates high quality, individualized, targeted Treatment Plans collaboratively with clients and reviews in a timely and meaningful manner

• Collaborates and coordinates with all other disciplines to provide the best care to clients


• Attends and engages meaningfully in trainings and clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings


• Provides constructive feedback through peer review process


• Conducts clinical intake assessments as needed


• Provides crisis management support to clients and the team as needed


• Allows Interns to sit in on sessions as appropriate Contributes to and participates in special projects, events, and groups as assigned


• Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed in one of the following in the state of Oklahoma:
  
  
  
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (LPC's must have graduated from a CACREP program)
  
  
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  
  
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  
  
  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC/MH)
  
  
  
  


• Education and training related to diagnosing and treating PTSD


• Proficient in conceptualizing and treatment planning from at least one Evidenced Based Practice


• Works effectively in and contributes to a healthy team environment


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Excellent use of organizational strategies


• Proficient in use of technology to perform duties


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Appropriate clinical judgment evident through conceptualization and documentation


• At least two years of clinical experience; preference for having work/lived experience within military connected community


• Proficient in conceptualizing and treatment planning from at least two Evidenced Based Practices


• Excellent clinical judgment evident through conceptualization and documentation


• Displays appropriate understanding of and adherence to policies and procedures and organizational hierarchy

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time


• Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds


• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time


• Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
