Job summary

Pacific Clinics Monrovia outpatient clinic is seeking a licensed clinician to provide assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapy for children and adults in a multi-disciplinary team.

You will work with limited supervision to plan and coordinate services, involve families, and monitor outcomes while adhering to professional standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Two years of relevant experience including practicum/internship hours (or equivalent).
• Registration with California BBS as ASW/AMFT/APCC and licensure within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments and evaluations for youth and families.
• Develops effective, measurable treatment plans tailored to child and family needs.
• Provides family-focused, strengths-based clinical leadership and coordination.
• Maintains thorough records and protective data management.
• Coordinates integration of Functional Behavior Analysis into service plans.
• Implements and monitors safety plans and risk assessments.
• Ensures timely documentation and adherence to clinical standards.
• Performs other duties to support department needs.

Compensation We Offer

• The initial compensation for this position ranges from $71,760 to $88,256 Per Year, depending on experience, location and internal equity considerations

Possible Additional Compensation (may Vary Based On Position Eligibility)

• 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications


• Possible Bilingual Differentials: Up to 7.5% for qualifying direct-service roles; up to $80.00/month flat fee for qualifying non-direct service roles.

Job Summary

About Program

PC Monrovia is an outpatient clinic that serves all ages and includes the following programs: Child and Youth Wellbeing, Adult Outpatient Clinical Services, High Wrap/Child FSP, and Wellness Center. We provide therapy (group, individual), Case Management, Peer support services, Medication Services. The team is multi-disciplinary and treatment approaches include Evidence Based Practices and school-linked services. Our services are provided across Service Area 3.

With limited supervision, provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities in the community. Provides facilitation and support to enhance the efforts of individuals and their families/caregivers in the design and implementation of evidence based treatment, working directly with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and evaluations that are culturally relevant and appropriate to youth and family strengths and needs, including identification of target behaviors and the function of those target behaviors.


• Independently develops effective treatment plans with clear and measurable intervention strategies, which are tailored to child and family strengths, needs and cultural preferences.


• Provides clinical leadership regarding family system observations and relays behavioral data to team in ways that demonstrate strengths based, solution focused values throughout all phases of service; i.e. engagement, stabilization, planning, intervention and transition.


• Records and collects clinical information in ways that promote and reflect family input while maintaining accountability to risks and threats associated with presenting problems.


• Independently coordinates the integration of comprehensive Functional Behavior Analysis and plans into overall child and family service plans with family members, referral sources, collateral contacts, community resources and other agencies and support persons involved with a child's plan for stabilization and wellness.


• Facilitates the development and refinement of effective behavior and risk specific reactive and proactive safety plans.


• Monitors effectiveness and efficiency of interventions with youth and families.


• Demonstrates proficient skills and abilities regarding conflict management and mediation of teams. Meets revenue and productivity standards.


• Ensures that effective personal organizational systems for paperwork/ information management are developed and maintained to support timelines and priorities.


• Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MA/MS) in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field and two (2) or more years of relevant experience required including practicum/internship hours, or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education) to include:


• Registration with the California BBS as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). Obtain Licensure in the State of California within 5 years


• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, DSM-5 diagnosis, and treatment planning.
