Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a dedicated mental health professional to join our growing team in New Hampshire. The role focuses on delivering in-home and community-based services to children, youth, and families, with collaborative work with DCYF and court-related reporting as needed.

Qualified candidates may hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field and must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Sponsorship is not offered for visas at this time.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned caseload and delivers in-home services per referrals.
• Collaborates with DCYF to respond to requests, create treatment plans, and document clinical work.
• Develops measurable treatment plans with families and DCYF.
• Complies with documentation standards and reports to the court when required.
• Provides therapeutic interventions to children, adults, and families in home/community settings.
• Participates in on-call coverage and ensures availability for late afternoons/evenings.

Position Overview

Summer Fun Fridays at Northeast Family Services! We close at 12:30pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day—giving our team more time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer sunshine. $2,000 STAY-ON BONUS at 6 months!

Northeast Family Services is a premier mental health provider with over 20 years of experience serving children, youth, and families. We are looking for a dedicated mental health professional to join our rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned caseload and ensures the proper implementation of in‑home services in accordance with referrals made by DCYF.
• Works collaboratively with DCYF to respond to referral requests, create treatment plans, participate in treatment meetings, and provide regular clinical documentation.
• Develops treatment plans with measurable and attainable goals in collaboration with families and DCYF.
• Adheres to all documentation requirements of service delivery including assessment and report writing.
• Participates in reporting progress to the court system through in‑person appearances and written reporting as requested.
• Provides therapeutic intervention to children, adults, and families as assigned in home and community‑based settings.
• Provides parent education and supervised visitation to children, adults, and families in home and community‑based settings.
• Serves as clinical lead on cases when multiple providers are assigned.
• Interfaces with DCYF, the NH court system, schools, behavioral health providers, and other members of the treatment team as necessary to provide quality service delivery.
• On‑call rotation: responsible for responding to phone calls to provide support to families as needed.
• Early evening availability required for working hours; most visits occur in the afternoon or early evenings. Must have flexible availability to meet client needs.
• Successfully assesses client risk on an ongoing basis and consults with clinical supervisor regarding safety concerns.
• Provides transportation for clients, including installation of car seat or booster seat as required.
• Documents all clinical contacts through the Electronic Health System.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience (Option 1): Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field approved under NH state guidelines, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, youth, and families in a home or community setting.

Education and Experience (Option 2): Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field approved under NH state guidelines, with a minimum of five years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, youth, and families in a home or community setting.

Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle; proof of insurance required.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Access to high‑speed, secure internet is required.

Compensation

Full‑time: Salary $55,000 – $60,000.
Stay‑on Bonus: $2,000 at six months.
