Gandara Center in Worcester seeks a qualified clinician to deliver intensive in-home, family-based treatment for youth under 21 and their families. The role emphasizes evidence-based family therapy and robust care coordination to support safe community reintegration.

Minimum qualifications include MSW/MA/M.Ed in a related field and active or eligible licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LICSW/LCSW). Bilingual capability (Spanish/Portuguese/Creole) and a valid vehicle are required.

Job Summary:

The Family-based Intensive Treatment (FIT) Program provides intensive short-term (on average, 4 to 6 months) in-home, community-based treatment to an identified youth and their family. The focus of FIT is to ameliorate the youth’s mental health issues and strengthen the family structures and supports, with the goal of safety transitioning the youth in to a less-intensive, community-based treatment. To do so, at risk youth and their families are provided medically necessary intensive family therapy and robust care coordination. The clinical goal of this program is to provide youth under 21 and their parents/caregivers with the intensive short- term treatment needed to maintain the youth at home safely and to (re)connect them to ongoing outpatient and/or community-based services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSW, MA, or M.Ed in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required.
• Must be licensed or license eligible for one of the following: LMHC, LMFT, LADCI, LICSW, or LCSW.
• Must have mental health or substance use treatment experience, strong communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills, and excellent organizational skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet Agency requirements for driving history records.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese and/or Cape Verdean Creole, and English-Required
• Must have a vehicle
