Empowering Families for Success (EFS) is a non-billable program funded by the Department of Mental Health (DMH) Child, Youth and Family Division to provide in-home outreach clinical services. The EFS Program works with families and youth ages 0-22 with acute mental health needs approved for DMH flexible support services. Clinicians will provide in-home and community-based clinical interventions that support the youth and family in achieving specific treatment goals that lead to improved functioning in identified areas of their life. All clinical interventions are designed to prevent out-of-home placement through enhancing emotional well-being, self-regulation, symptom management, social skills, family resiliency, and self-efficacy in response to challenges posed by severe emotional disturbance, peers, school, and associated stressors on the family system. Clinical services are coherent and integrated with other services and supports in the life of a DMH involved Youth. Language Differential: $1 per hour (eligible languages include: Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, or ASL) Hybrid Schedule Details: All sessions with clients are in person, but employees can start their workday from home before heading into the community. After initial training, employees are only required to report to the office 1 day per week. Work from home is a privilege that can be revoked if performance expectations are not met. Qualifications: MA level graduates are welcome to apply.
